Paul Wesley (aka Pawel Tomasz Wesley) is an award-winning actor producer and film director, is best known for his role in the TV drama The Vampire Diaries. He has been recognized with numerous nominations and awards for his role in the TV series, including Teen Choice Awards. Wesley was raised on the streets of New Brunswick New Jersey, United States. During his high school years he showed an interest in acting. In the future, he went to Rutgers University. After realizing that his talents as an actor could lead to a successful career, he chose to quit. The well-known American TV soap Another World was his first TV part. His next TV role was on the CBS show Wolf Lake. He reached the pinnacle of his career when he began playing Stefan Salvatore in the American TV series The Vampire Diaries. He has directed a few episodes of the series as well. Since his first appearance as a director in The Last Run in 1999 the actor has been featured in several other popular movies. Recently, he was seen in the film Mothers and Daughters and The Late Bloomer as an actor in supporting roles. His social media popularity is quite impressive, having more than 13 million followers on Instagram and more than 4.1,000,000 people following him on Twitter.
